4-3-2-1: The Formula for Stress-Free Travel

  • 4 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Arrange your transportation/drop off rental car.
  • 3 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Check your bags with your airline.
  • 2 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Get in line at the security checkpoint.
  • 1 HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE: Be at the gate, ready to board.

Getting Here

F1 will impact travelers going to and from the airport on the days before and after the race. Tropicana Avenue and Paradise Road will be especially busy; use alternate routes when possible.

  • Sign up for text alerts on F1 road closures by texting "F1LV" to 31996.
  • Unless you are flying or picking up friends or family, avoid driving through the airport during this time.
  • Wait for arriving passengers in the Cell Phone Lot, then use the numbered columns at Passenger Pickup to designate a meeting place.

Parking

  • Parking is in high demand. Consider all transportation options for getting to and from the airport.
  • Plan ahead and reserve your parking in advance. Spaces are limited and cost $28 a day at Terminal 1 and $21 a day at Terminal 3. Visit parking.harryreidairport.com to reserve.
  • Additional long-term parking is available across from the Airport Rental Car Center, (7140 Gilespie St.) , with shuttle service to both terminals. Allow 30 additional minutes if parking here.

Zero Level Rules & Procedures

  • Overflow staging areas will be available.
  • All vehicles must display authorized credential (AVI transponder or special event temporary permit).
  • All rules and regulations will be strictly enforced.
  • Companies are required to coordinate pick up and drop off with their own dispatch and/or customer as the dwelling time will be limited due to space availability.
  • Traffic will be strictly monitored and drivers may be required to leave the Level Zero commercial areas at both terminals to wait in overflow staging locations.
