Jason Cabrera serves as Managing Director, Information Systems Project Management Office (PMO) and has worked for the Department of Aviation (DOA) for over 27 years. Cabrera has been a driving force in the realm of business intelligence, project management, and enterprise systems and applications. With over 30 years in the field, he has seamlessly integrated technology and managed transformative changes for the organization, all while leading a highly talented and technical team of professionals.

Throughout his career, Cabrera has overseen the implementation of Airport Common Use Systems and managed large capital technology projects for DOA. His expertise also extends to managing IT airline and administrative operations in a demanding 24/7 environment, while collaborating with highly technical teams to deliver complex, yet user-friendly, solutions. Cabrera's professional accolades include Project Management Professional (PMP) and Infrastructure Technology Infrastructure Library (ITILv3 Expert). His contributions to LAS and the aviation industry are noteworthy, including establishing and designing technology standards for Terminal 3 common use systems, introducing Self Bag Tagging at LAS (now an industry standard), and developing the Business Intelligence and Project Management Teams at DOA.

Originally from Delano, Calif., Cabrera has called Las Vegas home for more than 36 years. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Public Administration, both from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Married for 19 years, Cabrera is a proud parent of two sons and one daughter. He also has one grandson and one granddaughter. In his leisure time, Cabrera enjoys coding, hiking, traveling and cherishing moments with his family.
