4-3-2-1: Our Winning Play

Monday after the game is expected to be an extremely busy departure day.

  • 4 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Arrange your transportation/drop off rental car.
  • 3 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Check your bags with your airline.
  • 2 HOURS BEFORE DEPARTURE: Get in line at the TSA security checkpoint.
  • 1 HOUR BEFORE DEPARTURE: Be at the gate, ready to board.

Know Before You Go

  • Place souvenir programs in your carry-on, not your checked bag, and remove the program for screening.
  • For a comprehensive list of what's allowed on board aircraft, visit the TSA website.
  • When it's time to fly home, save time by checking your bags with our new Curbside Concierge. The service is offered at the Airport Rent-A-Car Center and at Terminal 3 Departures. Click here for more information.
  • For special assistance, such as wheelchair service, make those arrangements through your airline before arriving at the airport.
  • Select shops and restaurants will have extended hours. Click here for a list of options.
  • From 3 a.m. Saturday, February 4, through 3 a.m. Wednesday, February 14, Terminal 1 RTC bus routes will temporarily move to Terminal 3. Visit the RTC website for route information.

Traffic Updates

With the big game taking place at Allegiant Stadium on the Strip, traffic impacts are expected.

  • Text SBLV to 31996 to opt in for updates on Super Bowl-related road closures, lane restrictions and traffic impacts.
  • Visit the Super Bowl Host Committee's website for details about transportation and parking for upcoming events.
  • If you're picking up arriving passengers, avoid traffic on the airport roadways and wait for them in the Cell Phone Lot, then use the numbered columns at Passenger Pickup to designate a meeting place.

Parking

  • Parking is in high demand. Consider all transportation options for getting to and from the airport.
  • Off-site, long-term parking is available across from the Airport Rental Car Center, (7140 Gilespie St.) , with shuttle service to both terminals. Allow 30 additional minutes if parking here.

  • Permits will not be issued with less than two business days' notice.
  • Permits must be picked up at the Terminal 3 Parking Services Office. For directions, click here.
  • AVI installs will not be available during this time.
  • Click here for maps showing designated Super Bowl staging areas and recommended routes, as well as designated Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 Level Zero (arrivals & departures) commercial areas.

Zero Level Rules & Procedures

  • No unattended vehicles.
  • No dwelling; immediate loading and unloading only.
  • Meet and greet should be conducted by company representatives inside the terminal. Passengers and baggage should be ready for immediate pickup.
  • Companies are required to coordinate pickup and dropoff with their dispatch and customers.
  • Vehicles must display authorized credentials (AVI transponder or special event temporary permit).
  • All rules and regulations will be strictly enforced.
  • Common use tables will be available on Level Zero of both terminals on a first-come, first-served basis. Only one company representative per table. Tables will be shared by two companies during customer arrivals only.
